Content
Brief history of thermography.

General thermography theory

  • Spectrum, energy, heat, thermodynamics, temperature, steady state-transient, heat capacity, heat transfer, thermal conduction, convection (natural, forced), radiation (Planck and Stefan B), reflection, absorption/emission, transmission (thermal background), Black body.
  • Software presentation and overview of analysis functions.
  • Thermal image examples: house facades, underfloor heating, settlement damage, electrical panels, electronics.
  • Tips to avoid sources of error.

There is a limited number of participants.
Course materials will be provided on the day.
