Thermographic course level 1

Thermography Course Level 1. Emphasis is placed on the practical use of thermography equipment. Learn to use thermographic cameras, software, as well as the principles behind thermography and infrared radiation.

Duration of the thermography course
4 full working days from 8 AM to 5 PM (breakfast from 8:00 to 8:30).

Course dates
You can find the dates for the courses in the tab "Course dates"

Location
Jutland: Hotel Pejsegården Søndergade 11, 8740 Brædstrup
Zealand: Buhl & Bønsøe A/S, Hassellunden 11A, 2765 Smørum

Benefits
Do you want to be a DBI certified electrical thermographer? The Level 1 course meets the requirements and therefore grants access to the subsequent course. It is not a prerequisite that you have attended the Thermography intro course.

In this course, you will become familiar with heat and radiation theory, infrared measurement techniques, the use of thermographic cameras and application possibilities, as well as the preparation of thermographic reports.

Content
Heat and radiation theory including definitions of temperature, temperature units, heat, and thermal energy. The physics behind heat transfer and heat conduction including, among other things, conduction, convection, and radiation, the laws of thermodynamics, theory of black body, the electromagnetic spectrum, and the use of the equipment.

Infrared measurement techniques including, among other things, qualitative and quantitative analysis, image interpretation, temperature measurement, measurement uncertainty, and the use of the equipment.

Handling of thermographic cameras Here you will learn, among other things, about measurement range, level, level, and span, thermal focusing, control of measurement instrument calibration, both before and after measurement, and the use of the equipment.

Application areas for thermography including common and special application areas, including electrical thermography, motors, rotating objects, tanks and silos, buildings, roofs, and moisture, the basis for thermography of electrical installations, assessment of typical faults, validation of rooms, and the use of the equipment.

Additional information
Emphasis is placed on the practical use of thermography equipment.
The course concludes with a written exam of the "multiple choice" type.
All participants who pass the exam receive a course certificate.
The teaching and course material are in Danish.
Breakfast and lunch included.
