You will learn to identify moisture and hidden mold. You will be able to assess the scope of the task and determine whether external advice is needed or if you can resolve the issue yourself. If you assess that the task requires an investigation with external help, you will be able to take the first samples after the course.

Benefits
You will learn to identify moisture and hidden mold. You will be able to assess the scope of the task and determine whether external advice is needed or if you can resolve the issue yourself. If you assess that the task requires an investigation with external help, you will be able to take the initial samples after the course.

Content
The main focus of the course is the identification of problem areas. Various types of instruments and samples will be used to identify the problematic areas. You will become familiar with these - both through a theoretical overview of measurement principles and the background of the instrument's construction - and through practical exercises illustrating how measurements should be performed and pitfalls to avoid. Once a potential problem area is identified, we will delve deeper into how to take samples yourself.

You will be faced with tasks where you must assess the necessity of samples, and you will need to take these samples yourself if mold is detected. This will be done with special sampling vials, which you will learn to use, so that you can subsequently take and send samples for analysis yourself.

During the course, the results of the analysis will be reviewed, and based on that, you will be able to assess the extent of a moisture and/or mold problem. This way, you can advise and service your clients in these problem areas in the future.

"My colleague recommended the course to me. I am newly employed at KAB with responsibility for mold consulting, so the course has meant that I have gained a greater understanding of the area and learned why and how to take samples for mold. It is a course I would recommend to the operational staff in the other units." - Christian Hersnæs, Operations Consultant, KAB
