At Buhl & Bønsøe, you will find the so-called Pocket Line instruments. These moisture meters are smart, as the name suggests, they can fit into a pocket. Common to the Pocket Line instruments is that they are easy to use, and since they fit into a pocket, you can easily take them with you everywhere.
An accompanying aluminum protective cover ensures that neither the display nor the keyboard is damaged on these products.
Testo also produces the 606 series for material moisture measurement. When you have Testo 606 instruments in your toolbox, you can easily measure moisture levels in various building materials. This way, you can ensure that you do not use damp wood for outdoor carpentry.
Discover water damage with a moisture meter
Water can cause incredible damage to a home if various areas and materials in the home are damp for a long time. A moisture damage occurs when building parts or contents are affected by, for example, condensation, dew, or just moisture that comes up from the ground for an extended period. It is therefore important to be aware that improper sealing of doors or windows can draw moisture into the home. And in the long run, it can cause significant problems.
One distinguishes between moisture damage that has occurred over (long) time and water damage that has suddenly occurred. These damages occur, for example, due to a burst water pipe, storm surge, or other events.
However, you should remember to use a moisture meter when your water damage has been resolved, so you can measure the water content and safely determine whether there is still moisture in the walls, floors, or other places in the home or on the construction site.
Together with Testo, Buhl & Bønsøe offers a wide range of precise measuring instruments for moisture measurement. Testo's instruments are available in different price ranges, and they can, for example, measure temperature and relative humidity. The Testo 606 series is particularly suitable for determining whether all moisture has been displaced from various building materials, walls, or other objects.
