For measuring noise in workplaces
CEL-62x sound level meters are designed for measuring all forms of occupational noise and for helping to comply with occupational noise legislation; use a sound level meter from the CEL-62x series to measure occupational noise or to test machinery noise, as well as to support decisions on the selection of hearing protection
Choose a CEL-62x sound level meter that suits your needs, with either a Class 1 or Class 2 microphone for precision, and with or without octave band analysis
The CEL-62x is easy to use and data are displayed on a color display; measurements are shown with user-friendly color codes according to the setting, for example green when a measurement is in progress and red when the measurement is complete; data are presented graphically to provide a clearer picture of the noise environment
Regardless of setup, the CEL-62x measures and logs all parameters, even when no specific selection has been made, and these can be viewed in the software; all measurements are time- and date-stamped, and up to 100 readings can be stored
All you need is to connect your CEL-62x sound level meter to a PC via the USB port and the data can be read without additional software; the meter has a measurement range of 20-140 dB, which means you do not need to change ranges
On the CEL-620B model, octave band analysis is shown in real-time in both graphical and tabular format with the dominant frequency highlighted; the history of broadband noise is displayed in real-time, allowing a user to see how the noise level varies over time
