Casella, an expert in instruments for air sampling, noise, and vibration, has launched VAPex, an advanced and lightweight low flow pump, which is the perfect solution for seamless reporting of employees' chemical exposure levels and saves hygiene technician time.

Casella’s VAPex pumps are designed for use with low flow, sampling of air gases and vapors across various industries and work situations.

VAPex has a flow rate between 20 mL and 500 mL/min, is EX approved, and helps hygiene technicians measure chemical exposure levels, such as Volatile Organic Compounds /VOCs.

Pocket-sized, long operation time, and on-site reporting

The device is pocket-sized, making it easy for users to carry at work. The pump has a runtime of over 34 hours under normal use. Additionally, the VAPex pump is designed with 3 LED lights indicating battery level from a distance, preventing unexpected battery loss that could disrupt monitoring.

For many hygiene technicians, transferring handwritten notes and test data recorded on-site is a significant problem. Now, hygiene technicians can, using VAPex Plus with Casella’s Airwave App via Bluetooth, benefit from a system that allows operators to record notes and input data immediately with their tablet or mobile device. The Airwave App can also be used to remotely check the pump, avoiding the need to disturb the pump carrier.
