Interpretation of heat indicator
After activation, any visible color in the heat indicator—including pink or red—signifies temperature fluctuations that are equal to or above the specified time and temperature.
Interpretation of freeze indicator
The SpotSee freeze indication uses a large color-changing indicator dot and a small static reference dot; when the indicator dot is as dark or darker than the reference dot, it indicates that the freezing exposure has exceeded the specified time and temperature; a dot may glow brightly or magenta and show slight darkening but remain lighter than the reference dot, which may mean the indicator has been exposed to brief exposure at the threshold temperature.
