Multifunctional temperature calibrator for measuring instrument calibration

Thermator II is a multifunctional temperature calibrator that can be used both stationary and portable, making it flexible for temperature calibrations. It can be used for service purposes as well as for industrial and laboratory tasks. The measurement insert provides four different operating modes for calibrating manufacturer-independent temperature sensors, thermometers (contact - surface - contactless measurement), temperature switches/thermostats, resistance thermometers, thermocouples, infrared measuring devices, and thermal cameras.

You can easily switch between dry block, micro bath, infrared, and surface functions. The specific inserts ensure easy and quick handling. The calibrator can be operated easily via the touchscreen. For this purpose, the calibrator can be used for your own or predefined test tasks that control the calibration process.

Dry block calibrator with Air Shield technology

With the dry block insert, air sensors with sensor diameters of 3.5 mm, 4.5 mm, and 6.5 mm can be calibrated. Due to the new Air Shield technology, a particularly high stability of ±<0.001...0.005 °C and accuracy of ±0.099 °C is achieved.

Micro calibration bath

For calibrating temperature sensors with special shapes and dimensions, such as immersion sensors, the micro calibration bath is the optimal solution. Thanks to direct contact with the calibration liquid, good heat transfer is guaranteed. The endless control of the magnetic stirrer ensures constant mixing of the calibration liquid, creating a large measurement zone. The sensor curve is used to protect the temperature sensors.

Infrared calibration

Thermator II includes an infrared insert for calibrating infrared measuring devices and thermal cameras. With an emissivity of only 0.9994, the insert is the optimal Blackbody radiation. This is made possible by the surface coating and the special asymmetric shape. Inside the infrared insert, there is an extra hole to check the temperature with an external reference sensor.

Surface calibration

Surface probes can be calibrated using the surface insert. For this purpose, there are three holes under the insert's surface. This allows temperature control using an external reference sensor. Switching to the external reference ensures the optimal temperature reference point on the surface.
