XT20/XT22

Machines installed on a surface that is not flat or level have a high risk of errors from the start; with XT laser transmitters you can ensure flatness and levelness in accordance with standards such as ISO and ANSI/ASA, leading to lower maintenance costs and improved long-term equipment performance.

Two models available
The two transmitters are essentially identical but differ in certain aspects to meet various user requirements.

XT20 is designed for flatness and straightness measurements during machine installation and for surface flatness control of manufactured parts; the model is water- and dust-resistant according to IP55 and is ideal for maintenance and installation technicians; it is also perfect for flange flatness checks.

XT22 offers the same features as XT20 but additionally allows the laser beam to be adjusted perpendicular to the laser plane; an integrated vertical precision level enables leveling when mounted on its side so the laser plane can sweep vertically; XT22 enables more geometric measurements and provides even higher accuracy and precision, partly thanks to fiber laser technology.

App connection
XT transmitters are equipped with wireless connectivity to the XT Alignment app, ensuring reliable and user-friendly measurements; during measurement, alerts notify you if factors such as transmitter position or internal temperature changes could affect the results; digital readout—either via the app or the built-in display—eliminates user interpretation uncertainty and is unaffected by poor lighting conditions; the app also guides you step-by-step through calibration to ensure correct setup.

Versatility in any measurement situation
Both XT20 and XT22 can be used with the programs Straightness, Basic Flatness, and Values; especially the Values program allows for nearly all types of geometric measurements; a powerful rechargeable battery provides up to 30 hours of operation, and flexible mounting options with brackets and removable magnets ensure you can always find a solution—regardless of the measurement scenario.

Compatibility
For measurement, you need the XT70-M measuring unit as a detector, which comes with the XT770 system but can also be purchased separately; if you want to use XT20/XT22 with an existing Easy-Laser D- or E-series system, only the free XT Alignment app is required for calibration of the digital levels.
