ShockWatch 2 has several advantages; unlike the ShockWatch label, which is always active, ShockWatch 2 is manually activated; this self-adhesive shock indicator is activated when you remove the protective film from the back and stick it onto your package.
With ShockWatch 2, you avoid mishandling; the shock indicator provides a warning if the packaging has been subjected to impact during transit, enabling smooth transportation or delivery to the recipient, as well as easy handling of the indicator.
The activation of the ShockWatch 2 indicator is primarily designed to detect impacts along the vertical axis; ShockWatch 2 activates if the impact angle is between 45° and 90°, and the indicator windows should face upward and downward.
The serial number prevents the indicator from being replaced with a similar one; therefore, it is important to record the serial number on your shipping documents.
ShockWatch 2 is tamper-proof and lights red if the packaging is damaged.
