Heat emission at workplaces: To calculate how long a person can stay in a hazardous work area, it is recommended to use the WBGT index (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature).

With a WBGT set from testo, you are ready to evaluate workplaces with heat emission based on ISO 7243 and DIN 33403-3. The set is ideal for determining Wet Bulb Globe Temperature because it can perform precise measurements of all relevant climate parameters such as air humidity, ambient/air temperature, and radiant heat.

Globe thermometer:

Ø 150 mm (TC Type K)
0 to +120 °C Class 1 (see note)

Note: According to standard EN 60584-2, the accuracy of Class 1 applies from -40 to +1000 °C (type K), and Class 2 from -40 to +1200 °C (type K), and Class 3 from -200 to +40 °C (type K). The accuracy of a sensor can only meet the requirements of one class at a time.

Ambient temperature sensor (Pt100):
+10 to +60 °C ±(0.3 °C + 0.3 % of m.v.)

Wet bulb temperature sensor (Pt100):
+5 to +40 °C ±(0.3 °C + 0.3 % of m.v.)
